Paris climate agreement is ‘better off' without the U.S., say experts

After a recent announcement that the current administration will be pulling out of the Paris agreement to fight climate change, Stephen Scharper, associate professor of anthropology, UTM, and the School of the Environment, explains how the Paris agreement may go forward as it has historically, independent of federal government support.

"The fact that the Trump administration wants to pull out of the Paris climate change accords is very devastating, in theory," explains Scharper.
