New and Renumbered Courses for 2017-18

New and Renumbered Courses in the Environment - 2017-18

The School of the Environment is offering five renumbered courses and two new courses for the 2017-18 fall and winter session.

Four of the renumbered courses are permanent versions of the "Big Ideas" special topics courses that we have offered over the past two years. Two address the Environment and the Digital World (is the internet green?; social media and environmentalism) - ENV261H1 and ENV361H1. Two address Energy and the Environment (transitions in history; and economics, politics & sustainability) - ENV362H1 and ENV462H1. Each is a BR=3 breadth course.  

The first new course is a science breadth course, The Science of Energy in the Environment - ENV262H1. It is a BR=5 breadth course. 

The fifth renumbered course is a permanent version of The U of T Campus as a Living Lab of Sustainability - ENV461H1 - which was offered as a special topics course in 2016-17. It is a BR=3 breadth course.

The second new course is a special topics course, Waste Not, Want Not: Stories of Wastefulness in Religion and Society - ENV382H1. 

Fall term:

ENV262H1  The Science of Energy in the Environment 

ENV461H1   U of T as a Living Lab of Sustainability (was ENV481H1 in 2016-17) 

Winter term:
