 sibility and vulnerabilities do we share in our respective communities wit
 h regards to Climate Change? Now what?About the SpeakerA\na Marie grew up 
 in Hamilton, ON with her father and maternal grandparents emigrating from
  Italy. She was the first member of her family to attend university. She i
 s a Registered Professional Planner with the Canadian Institute of Planner
 s. She has an undergraduate degree (BES) in Environment and Resource studi
 es and a Masters Degree in Planning from the Faculty of Environment at the
  University of Waterloo. A\na Marie transplanted to Waterloo, married a M
 ennonite and her daughter has started first year Engineering at McMaster U
 niversity. She worked for the City of Waterloo for 23 years, starting as 
 a student labourer, then onto contract after contract and then into brand
  new positions in environmental protection (2001) and sustainability (2016
 ). The last 3 years she has worked at City of Kitchener as their Corporate
  Sustainability Officer. Her portfolio includes corporate and community fo
 cus on climate change mitigation and adaptation. A daily meditation and pi
 lates practice supports her in meeting life and this body of work with a b
