The opportunity to complete a thesis project on an interdisciplinary and unique research topic.

What aspects of the program do you enjoy? What did you hope to gain/are currently gaining from the program?

I look forward to immersing myself in a new research journey alongside a small cohort of students and faculty members who inspire and fuel new, exciting work.

Future Aspirations (career, education, etc.)

Academic arts-based research and non-profit community organizing.

Fun Fact About Me

I am a dance and embodiment educator looking forward to integrating my dance background with my academic research! I also am involved with a small non-profit, the Women's Healthy Environments Network (WHEN), where we educate individuals and policy makers on the links between environmental and public health for vulnerable populations.
