How did the Environment program influence your career?

The University of Toronto introduced me to the very important network of people to keep in touch with. They provided super valuable career suggestions and opportunities. This degree also provided me the passion for the work.

Any career suggestions or advice?

I chose this career because I wanted to make a difference in the world. I was very passionate about environmental issues and knew that this is the area in which I can make my contribution. My passion drove me to my current career.

In terms of career suggestions, I think it is very essential to get involved in different volunteer opportunities. The volunteer work provides you the experience of how to stand out from other candidates during job search process, contacts in the industry, tests out what kind of work you are interested in and also builds up your understanding and resume. Additionally, select core discipline for you to do Environmental Studies, such as biomedical, economics, engineering, law, to provide you a strong background knowledge in the marketplace.
