What interested you in the MES program?

I was interested in the MES program because it provided me with the opportunity to complete important research within the time frame of one year. Additionally, the program allowed me to continue to pursue research which I had been involved in during my undergraduate degree.

What aspects of the program do you enjoy? What did you hope to gain/are currently gaining from the program?

I thoroughly enjoy the simultaneous independence afforded by - and ability to learn from - my research supervisor. I have benefitted greatly from taking on difficult research tasks independently, while still receiving excellent guidance throughout the research process. I ultimately hoped to gain an in-depth and exhaustive understanding of what the qualitative research process would entail, and this is exactly what I have receieved.

Future Aspirations (career, education, etc.)

In the future I plan to pursue a legal career and very much look forward to joining the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, Class of 2027. I am confident that my time in the MES program will certainly enrich and enhance my legal education through the knowledge, experiences, and lessons that it has provided me with.
