What interested you in the MES program?

I was highly interested in the emphasis of interdisciplinary learning conducted through a transdisciplinary lens, and the opportunity to utilize the cross-disciplinary education I received from my undergraduate experience while deepening my understanding of sustainability.

What do you hope to gain from the MES program?

I first hope to gain perspectives outside of my academic concentration in relation to sustainability by connecting with like-minded students and faculty. I additionally hope to further understand the very nature of methodologies and tools relevant to sustainable solutions and practices.

Future Aspirations (career, education, etc.)

Currently, my future aspirations lie in academia, in continuing my education after the completion of my masters. Specifically, I hope to pursue a PhD in a field similar to my academic interests.

Anything else you'd like to add (interests, hobbies, relevant previous experiences, etc.)

Outside of school, I love hiking, volunteering, and going on road trips with my friends and family. I am also an avid reader and love to collect books as well!
