What interested you in the MES program?
The MES program appealed to me as it seemed right up my alley! Having had an incredible undergraduate experience at the School of the Environment, I was thrilled to join this interdisciplinary graduate program when it finally launched!
What aspects of the program do you enjoy? What did you hope to gain/are currently gaining from the program?
As someone with a broad range of interests, I am looking forward to discovering my niche within the climate sphere & ideally refining my science communication skills. This unique program brings together students & faculty from diverse backgrounds, each approaching the topic of sustainability from a slightly different vantage point. Therefore, I'm also especially excited to meet & collaborate with the close-knit cohort of students and for the creative new ideas that will spark.
Future Aspirations (career, education, etc.)
I've never been sure what I want to be when I grow up! Hopefully this program will give be some ideas~ I currently identify as an aspiring climate data scientist, with a strong proclivity towards science communication work, ideally at an NGO.
Fun Fact About Me
I'm a third-culture-kid & a youth climate activist!
