Sustainable Fashion Series Part 2: Upcycling and Mending Workshops with U of T Knits

The School of the Environment and the University of Toronto Knitting Club (U of T Knits) invite you attend Part 2 of our Sustainable Fashion Series. At the Upcycling and Mending Workshops, attendees are invited to participate in any or all of the following beginner workshops: (1) Mending/Upcycling Old Clothes, (2) Yarn Harvesting, and (3) Creating (& Using) Yarn from Plastic Bags!
Please note that while some materials will be provided, attendees are asked to bring their own fabric/clothing item for each workshop they intend to partake in. Supplies are very limited and will be distributed on a first come first served basis.
The event will be held on Friday, January 17th, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in-person in classroom ES 1042 (5 Bancroft Avenue).
